What transfer is Best for me?
We offer 3 types of custom iron-on transfers to reproduce your designs for printing on clothing (tshirts etc.). Each one of these 3 printing processes offer certain features and characteristics, that make each one of them different. They vary in the finished product look and feel, durability, graphic size and color options, quantity requirements and order turn around time.
Artwork is Keystone
The creation of the artwork design is the most important element and the keystone for the production of heat transfers. Creating the artwork with the understanding and the capabilities of each of the printing process, inks, colors, materials, textures, sizes etc.. used to achieve the end finished transfer result as it was thought out in the begining.
The artwork preperation is extremely important, if not ready for production it can slow down all jobs with addtitional costs of art charges.
FAQ's
Q: I am interested in designing my own iron ons, in different sizes and ordering about 3 sizes, 30 each size to start. Will i need a heat press, a steam iron , or just a regular heat iron to transfer to clothing ?
A: Relating to the sizes we recommend staying within industry standard sizes, this will reduce the cost. We have Custom Transfers Design Sheet Size Charts available for various types of printing processes clients may use as reference. Regarding the application, most can be done with home iron cotton setting, also heat press, but no steam iron. The best is to send us jpg samples of your designs and custom job specifications sheet in order for us to provide you more details relating to your project.
What is a Spec Sheet?
The job specifications sheet ( aka spec sheet ) is a very important element for any custom work we do. It details the customer's information about the work we are hired to do in order to reproduce the clients artwork or ready to wear printed apparel as a finished product professionaly made within the decorating trade industry standards.
The details of a spec sheet vary from job to job due to the fact that not every custom job is exactly the same. Some are basic in details others are high detail projects. The following is an example of client provided information on a job spec sheet:

DIGITAL TRANSFERS
Full color digital iron-on transfers offer high resolution graphics that can be applied on various types of printable items, such a t-shirts and more.
There are no minimum quantity requirements, clients can order 1 only, a few or larger quantities at discount volume prices.
They are made via Poli-Tape brand heat transfer materials and by Forever brand Iron-on Transfer Papers.
They are easy to apply with home iron or heat press. Are quality iron-on transfers, durable and washable.
Q: Can it be applied/printed using a home iron?
A: Yes, the printing application can be done with a home hand iron-on and selecting the cotton setting. However there are a few limitations that need to be excluded in order for the digital full color iron-on transfer to work perfectly.
